Please, who makes a good quality non-breakable coffee thermos NOT made in China?
…need to replace my Aladdin/Stanley…but they’re made in China now, sorry. Thank you!
…neither Corning Ware nor Corning turns up anything related, from what I could see so far, but Thanks.
Y!Arnlad–neither Corning Ware nor Corning [on Google search] shows vacuum bottles..but thanks for trying to help.
Thermos Brand Element 5 Vacuum Insulated Beverage Bottle E20600
http://www.thermos.com/Product_detail.aspx?CatCode=ELE5&SubcategoryID=1&ProductID=524
I’ve got one that claims to be made in Malasia.
Bought it at Target.
The cap is a little odd, so don’t try to overfill it, but it keeps the coffee hot.
The only real down side is that it only holds 20 ounces and the cap is a lousy cup.

Do Bigger Cruise Ships Mean Better Cruises?
December is here, marking the maiden voyage of Royal Caribbean’s latest cruise ship and Guinness world record post-it the MS Allure of the Seas. The numbers are all very impressive. It’s 1,188 feet long and it weighs 225,282 gross tons. With sixteen passenger decks and 6,400 people on board, American definitions would probably quite comfortably call this a city on the waves. Due to an engineering anomaly, even though its sister ship ‘Oasis of the Seas’ was ordered to the exact same specifications, ‘Allure’ is two inches longer, therefore making it the largest passenger ship ever constructed. It’s all very impressive stuff, but we’ve heard it before. And we’ll hear it again.
Whilst the workhorses of the cruise fleet keep the industry’s wheels turning, there’s always this rather pointless arms race continuing on regardless. It’s rather strange to see the lines carrying on like this, two-faced even. You’ll find large lines offering Cruise deals that present a less exclusive face to the cruise industry, something which is always welcome. But then these same lines are commissioning ships that are specifically targeted at the higher income brackets than can afford them, simply moving the problem elsewhere. You only have to go to the Allure’s Wikipedia article to see the lengths that companies will go to claim a ‘first’. The Allure has the world’s first seaborne Starbucks Coffee stand (which seems improbably late considering Starbucks’ high street saturation).
In a 1912 poem called The Convergence of the Twain, Thomas Hardy exclaimed of the wreck of the Titanic ‘What does this vaingloriousness down here?’ Upon seeing the Allure of the Seas, his brains would melt and leak out of his ears. The Allure carries the slogan ‘The Nation of Why Not’ which is so simplistic you can’t actually argue against it. You don’t need to pay out for the ‘Allure’ to get the exact same experience. Try Silverseas cruises for more reasonable pricing. Or try something different altogether, like Luxury nile cruises with something worthwhile on the horizon and plenty of chances to get out of the stuffy air of a floating megamall. By the time your tickets come through the door, the Allure will probably not even be the biggest cruise ship in the world. So what will be the main appeal then?

Going to a Chicago Bears game ?
This is the first Bears game that we are attending and wanted to know if we would be able to take in a thermo with coffee or hot chocolate? We know that beer or alcohol is a big no no, but what about anything else?
thanks.
Thanks! I went to the Soldier Field website and they prohibited *Cans, bottles or other beverage containers. Guess it’s a big no. Oh, well….
I’ve been to some Chargers games (not a fan though) & they only let me bring in 2 bottled waters, but they had to be brand new & never opened, but I don’t think you can bring coffee or hot chocolate, but you can buy it there. Also you can bring snacks, like candy. Have fun! Football games are so much fun!!~~Go on the Bears website & look up stadium rules.~
