Choosing Your New Wooden Coffee Table

How to repair coffee table/end tables that have had water damage?

I have a 2 yr old set of coffee table/end tables that are cherry. I was out of commission over the last year and family and friends that came to help set drinks on the coffee tables/end tables. The water has made the tops look like they have split or have huge scratches. Is there anyway to salvage these tables and make them look good again?

Who else hates the way all these new coffee joints serve bad coffee in a paper cup?

Why are they so popular? Gloria Jeans in particular seems to always serve bad coffee, with burnt milk but everyone loves it. I don’t get it.
